Let us handle the firing so you can focus on your art!

Very important that all your clays and glazes can be fired to the correct temperature please make sure to check the labels on your bags they can be fired to the temperature below
Bisque Firing to 950 degrees C
Glaze Firing to Cone 6 oxidation firing to 1240 degrees C
Please note, not following temperature guide can result in damage to equipment and will incur an extra fee
Most of the time clays like Terracotta and Black clay can be bisque fired but not glaze fired in my kiln unless you are renting out the whole kiln, as it needs a special temperature, but again please read labels on your clay
Special firings like lustres can also be arranged

Terms & conditions
-
There is a 2 week turn-around for this service for each firing. Please keep in mind this all depends on whether I have enough to fill the kiln, if you need something back in a certain amount of time let me know when you drop it off
-
The first time firing with me we will schedule a time to meet at my studio so that I can run you through the process, you must have access to a phone with a camera and email - to schedule a time use the contact form at the bottom of the page :)
-
Creations need to be packed in sturdy boxes that are either closed or have lids with sufficient packaging around the creations. Care will be taken with the boxes but all damage in transit is the responsibility of the customer and no refunds will be provided for transit damage. Creations must be marked with a recognizable mark so orders aren't mixed up.
-
There is a $40 fee if any glaze (when applied by customer) runs onto the kiln shelves.
-
it is absolutely essential that you can identify the clay or glaze brand, type and firing temperature. We cannot fire unknown clay or glaze as this could damage our kiln and kiln repairs can vary from $40 to $400. Any damage caused to the kiln is the responsibility of the piece holder and you will be charged upon collection of pieces.
-
if you have some new glazes that you're unsure about they're fluidity please provide a plate to fire them on nothing sticks to the kiln shelf
